We're on for now...

Hello, all!

I think when you have your 4th baby in 5 years...things get a little hectic!

Well, obviously, we haven't given out our prizes yet for those who guessed correctly. I believe that Jill Bennet and Jocelyn Wood won prizes for guessing that our baby was a girl. Jill Bennett also won for guessing that the birth would happen on 8/8/08. So, congrats to these ladies and to Jill who guessed that Evelyn Hope would be born on her and Kevin's 10th anniversary. Crazy!!!

We'll see what we can do as far as prizes (pray that we remember!). If you guessed correctly too and I haven't noticed that you did (please forgive me). I'm working off of limited information...so please let me know!

As far as Life in da 'Burgh...well, it's a little disappointing that we didn't have the keystone state Super Bowl...and even more disappointing that the Eagles yet again choked severely. Thanks for the Steelers for not disappointing us anymore though. Well done, fellows!

On other notes, we're enjoying life all the more here in Bethel Park. We're currently housing a guest who is renting a room from us from January through whenever the Penguins end their season and she wants to go home! It's been fun so far...and she's interning with the Penguins and loving every minute of it. Here's to our sister within our walls!!! :)

Last thing and then I'm signing off: JT was just registered for his first ever T-Ball league this afternoon. Daddy just barely made it into the doors to register before they left...(phew!). Life will be getting a little busy around here with practices and games going from April through June. We're a bit crazy with the season of life that we are in, but hey...it's worth it, we believe. We can't wait to meet more folks in Bethel Park.

Well, till another time.

Keep looking to Christ for grace, forgiveness, and strength!

It's a Girl!

Sorry to most of you who had guessed it was a boy...the ultrasound (unless God decides to edit this) showed pretty convincingly that the next Hetrick to be added to our household is yet another female! Wow! Anyone want to contribute to the ever growing need in the future of a Wedding Fund? Just kidding...this is completely amazing and we are really excited!

The baby seemed very healthy, which makes us very grateful. And JT is excited too...which just shows God's grace in his life. He's excited that Daddy and he will still be the only "Mans" in the house. When Daddy is away, he still doesn't have to share his 'manly' duties with anyone yet. yet...

Well, the contest will continue...and I think what I will do is give a little prize to each of those who guessed girl, so that we can concentrate on the next milestone, which is the arrival date.

WHICH, I have to say...was most rudely changed...rude for those of you who guessed later than earlier...they adjusted the due date to August 12th now...sorry about that!

Due to their measurements, the baby is about 20 weeks already...not just 19...so they adjusted the date according to that.

Well, if anyone wants to edit their guess on the due date, please feel free to do that, and we'll give a prize to the person who most closely gets it. (earlier or later...none of this stuff of "you have to be earlier than the date").

Have fun!

Praise the Lord for such a wonderful day yesterday of grace-filled excitement!

Names (Boy or Girl until we know for sure)

We're wondering if folks could provide us with some help for the name of this baby. It's not like we'll only go with your suggestions, but we'd like to have a little bit of help on the brainstorming side of things.

So, feel free to add your thoughts on what names you could see matching with the rest of us: Jeremy, Kate, JT (Jeremiah Todd), Bethany Grace, and Charity Kate Hetrick.

We've got a good thing going so far with the names (we've not yet regretted one)...

but if you have some thoughts, feel free to send them to us! Please don't suggest names you might use (for younger couples or singles) some day...and preferably no names that are used for folks we know that are close to us...etc, etc.

Picky picky, we know...but! Thanks for any help you can provide us!

May you know the peace of the Savior this Easter season,

Thanks everyone for playing the game!!

We'll try and post the results as we get them. If it's a girl, so far, it's two horse race with Jill and Jocelyn. Something tells me that it's a boy...do you think the majority would be able to tell us prophetic knowledge of the gender of the baby?? Who knows! JT thinks it is a boy though...and folks have told us that children sometimes are able to tell. That's pretty silly, but, again, only the LORD knows!!!

This is fun!

Ultrasound This Monday!

Hey, everyone!

Just another quick post here. If you are going to get into the contest for the baby guessing of gender and birthday with time, get in quickly.

We have our ultrasound on Monday, and we will be deciding when to reveal the gender of the baby!!!!

Who knows though, we'll probably not get the news correct or it will be so hard to see, that we can't be sure.

So, if you are in, get in!!!

Thanks,

Jeremy
